Can a 30 Amp Fuse be Used in the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass on a 2012 Honda Fit
Question:
I see that the RM76511 replaces a 30 amp fuse with a 20 amp fuse on the fuse bypass. I watched the video Is there any problem with the radio function by using a smaller fuse? Also, we have an HD radio adapter installed on our Fit. Would this still work on the 20 amp fuse bypass? Photos attached of HD radio and Specs sheet for said radio.

If you're going to be listening to Taylor Swift you might need a higher fuse rating! But seriously the fuse bypass for your 2012 Honda Fit, # RM76511, is rated for a maximum 20 amp fuse. But, you really only have to pull the fuse if you will be towing for more than 8 hours. Otherwise you can pull over somewhere and then start up the Fit to let the alternator charge up the battery. Be sure to follow the flat towing prep information from the owner's manual prior to towing the vehicle again after a pit stop.
