Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Griot's Garage ultimate car wash bucket. This is going to allow you to hold water and cleaner so you can easily wash your vehicle. This does have a capacity of six gallons. So it's going to provide us plenty of water and clean suds to make sure that our vehicle gets nice and clean.

I do want to give you a few measurements. Our overall length, going to be right about 19 inches and then inside to inside, about nine inches wide and about nine inches deep. That's where we get our six gallon capacity. You notice when I tip this over, we've got several different grates in here. We've got our bottom grate and that is to keep our sponges and everything out of the dirt.

So as we wash our car, obviously we're getting all that dirt off of our car and onto our sponge or washcloth, whatever we're using.When we put it back in the bucket to rinse it out, get new, clean water on, all that dirt is going to settle down to the bottom so that grate there is going to help keep that dirt separated from our sponge so that we're not picking that dirt back up and going back potentially causing damage to the finish of our vehicle or anything like that. This top grate is going to be a shelf for our sponges and tools. So we can set that on there. It's not going to be down sitting in the water in the bottom of our bucket. So it can be up there, kind of drying.

Easy to access. We don't have to go searching for it as you do in a normal bucket. Again on the bottom grate, you can see there is a measuring cup molded in so that you can easily measure out your cleaning solution of choice and then on the bucket sides here, zoom in a little bit, you can see that there is volume markers.It's going to be very difficult to see cause they're kind of molded in. But you can just barely see the highlight there. Let me see if I can tilt this for you.

So yeah, you can see the liter marker. You got 22 liters and then our gallons is over here, six gallon marker and then it goes down. So you're at five and four and so on. So that's going to help you measure out your liquid so you can pour in your cleaning solution into that little measuring cup in the bottom and then fill up the bucket to the amount of water that you want in there. So it's going to be very easy to measure out, make sure that you're getting the right portions of everything. We're also going to have handle that's going to allow us to lift the bucket up, move it from one side of the vehicle to the other.Keep in mind with this, if you have all six gallons that the bucket is capable of holding in here at once, the bracket is going to weigh about 50 pounds. So that's going to be quite a bit to lug from one side of the vehicle to the other as you make your way around. Griot's Garage does make another option. It's the exact same bucket. But it has caster wheels on it. So you can see there. This model has the place for the caster wheels. But they are not included. So if you want the caster wheels option, you can use the part number. It was on the screen there for you.Essentially the exact same thing. It's just going to be easier to move around and it has a lid on it. If you don't like the wheels, it's not for everybody, with the wheels on there, you would have to worry if you have a slanted driveway. The bucket could slide down, get away from you. With it not having the wheels in this option, it's going to sit where you need it to sit. You don't have to worry about it running away on you. Either way, it's going to be a great option, making sure that you have the capacity that you need to clean your vehicle. It's going to keep all your dirt down at the bottom, away from your cleaning rags and sponges and then up here, you're going to have that shelf. So it's a really great product. I like both options. Me personally, I would probably go with the one with the caster wheels. But totally up to you. It's your prerogative. Both are going to do great jobs.
