Recommended 14 Inch Trailer Wheel with 3-1/2 Inch Backspacing

Question:

What is the backspacing for the wheel? I was told my trailer would accommodate 3.5 to 3.75inch backspacing. Do you have any nice, aluminum wheels that will work with that backspacing in a 14inch rim with 4.5 bolt pattern?

The Sendel Aluminum Sendel Series T02 Machined Trailer Wheel # AM22329 referenced in your question has a backspacing of 3-1/4 inches. All of the available 14 inch aluminum wheels with a 5 on 1/4 inch bolt pattern have a width of 5-1/2 inches, meaning their backspacing will be 3-1/4 inches. As long as the wheel does not have an offset, you can determine its backspacing by taking the wheel width, adding 1 inch for the wheel lips and then dividing that by 2.

With this in mind, we do have wheels available, such as the Americana # AM20354 that have a 6 inch width, giving it a 3-1/2 inch backspace dimension. This is not an aluminum wheel but it does feature a galvanized finish that will offer superior protection from rust and corrosion.

I have attached a short video demonstration on this product so you can see exactly how it looks.
