Question:

Item AM32182, Galvanized rim/tire. Do the galvanized tires come inflated, balanced and ready to install ? Is there any hazard for them like when people buy tires for a car? Tires and rim size I need is ST215/75/14

The tires will have some air in them, but you will need to check the air pressure once you mount the tire to your trailer and adjust it to the proper psi to ensure the maximum performance of the tire. The recommended psi will be located on the sidewall of the tire.

The tire/wheel combinations we carry come balanced in the manner trailer tires are balanced. This is different from the balancing of vehicle tires that require the weights be added, but they do come balanced and ready to install on your trailer. Our tire and wheel combinations are mounted so that the high heavy spot on the tire is aligned with the low light spot on the wheel. This provides adequate balance for trailer tires.

You can choose to have them further balanced with weights if you desire, but if you choose to do this, you will need to make sure they use a pin plate adapter to balance them because trailer tires are lug-centric, so they require different balancing. Again, this is not required because they come balanced based on the requirements for trailer tires. I've attached an article in case you have further questions on this balancing process.

The Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # AM32182 is a great wheel/tire combination that has a corrosion-resistant galvanized finish, full nylon plies and double steel belts for a long life, and computer-generated tread design for superior traction in both wet and dry conditions. This combination is rated for 1,870 lbs at 50 psi and for a maximum speed of 81 mph. It comes with a 2-year warranty.

I've attached a review video of this tire/wheel combination for your convenience.
