Question:

I did not mean Jack stands but the kind that are crank driven and welded to the actual trailer frame.

For your boat trailer, to keep the weight off the tires for storage, I recommend the 2-Ton Jack Stands - Qty 2 # PTW41021. Each jack can hold 4,000 lbs, but I recommend using 4 of these spaced as evenly as possible to keep the weight off the wheels and then just use the trailer jack for a 5th point of support and balance.

Stabilization jacks like that are not intended to completely raise the trailer off the wheels and support that weight. If you choose to do this, the Leveling Scissor Jack Set - 24" Lift - 5,000 lbs - QTY 2 # JSC-24 or # JSC-30 for higher lift of 30 inches are your best option. They can be bolted or welded to your frame. Because they are not intended for this use, you may want to use a couple more for increased safety.
