Determining Correct Lift Kit for 1982 Scotty Sportsman Camper
Question:
Hi, I have a 1982 Scotty Sportsman that I really need to raise by a couple of inches. The problem is I dont have a clue what axle it has. It is torsion style but I cant find any identifying information on it anywhere. Do you guys happen to know where I can find that info? Or, if I dont need that info could you point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance

We do have lift kits available for specific torsion axles, such as the Dexter Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-01, which is designed for #10 Torflex axles with 2,300 to 4,000 pound capacities. I have included a link that will take you to our available selection of Torflex Lift Kits that you can look through.
Since you are unable to locate any information on the axle itself, I recommend contacting the camper manufacturer with the trailer VIN. With this information, they should be able to tell you exactly what type of axle is on the trailer, assuming it is an original part.
