How to Reduce Rattle Coming From a Cushioned Ball Mount
Question:
I have a ball mount with the cushioned interior, so it allows a bit of forward and backward movement. Would MPG908 come loose or wear at the hitch assembly with the forward and backward motion of the ball mount cushion. Or would it prevent the cushioning which would be fine... I need to stop the rattle This is my ball mount # AMSC8. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Malone Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock System, # MPG908, would work well with your Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount, # AMSC8. The Malone anti-rattle device will help stop the unwanted movement between the ball mount and your vehicle's receiver hitch.
However, by using an anti-rattle device on this ball mount you will loose most of the cushioned function of the your ball mount.
