Is Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount Compatible With Curt RockerBall?
Question:
Would the Rocker ball work with a convert a ball cushioned hitch?
asked by: Nick
Expert Reply:
The Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter Shank # C29FR will not work with the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 10,000 lbs # AMSC2 which has a 1 inch diameter ball hole.
Using the Polyurethane of the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount as well as a similar design in the ball may actually mitigate the shock absorption. One or the other would help but sometimes using two parts with the same thing will work against each other instead of multiplying the benefit.
