Trailer Hitch Fit Recommendation for 2011 Toyota Prius

We have a 2005 prius and are about to buy a 2011 prius. Can the trailer hitch from the old car fit on the new car?

There was a large enough difference between the 2009 and 2010 Toyota Prius that they had to change the trailer hitch design all together.

That means that for your 2011 Prius you would need the Draw Tite part # 24847 as you older hitch will not fit.
