Recommended Aluminum Wheels With Chrome Cap And Lug Nuts For Pop-up Camper

Question:

AM32001HWTB, I would like to buy 2 of these tires and rims for my 1999 Rockwood popup. The tires on there are 175/80 r13 load c. I just had one blowout on me. I want to go to a load d tire to better handle the weight. The gvw is 3000lb. The tires I have on there are also 2 ply, which I think are way too weak of a tire. This is a larger single axle popup with a front trunk compartment. I believe all the measurements on your description are the correct tire and rims for my trailer, but worried about offset of rim. I have the stock white triangular holed rim on there now. I figured a load d Kendra tire that is 8-ply would better fit my needs. I was going to go with the aluminum rim also for increased strength. I did try to call a few times today but was on hold for a while. My main question is do you think they will fit ok. I do have room for the tire and rim to fit more tord the axle side, but not much room to come out to fender side. I was also wondering if you stock crnter caps to hide the wheel bearing cup. Shiny lug nuts would be nice also. Thanks

The Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # AM32001HWTB are really nice combinations with a load rating of 1,610 lbs at 65 lbs and a ply rating of 8. These wheels are not offset at all, like most trailer wheels, so you won't see a difference in location on your 1999 Rockwood pop-up camper.

For your shiny lug nuts, I recommend the Chrome Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 1/2" - Qty 1 # 12CLN-L and for the center cover the Trailer Wheel Center Cap, Chrome, 3.19" Pilot Size # 319EZ.
