Will Curt Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch # C11497 Fit a 2007 Subaru WRX STI with an Aftermarket Exhaust
Question:
I have a 2007 WRX STI w/a aftermarket Exhaust Greddy SP2 brand. Will this product fit, if so will there need to be any modifications needed to be done?

The trailer hitch manufacturers do not test fit any vehicles with aftermarket products installed. They will only recommend a fitment on a 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI that has a factory exhaust.
The Curt Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # C11497, will fit a 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI with the factory exhaust. The rubber isolator that holds the factory exhaust will actually be removed and bolted to the Curt hitch side plate. You will also need to trim the rear bumper fascia, approximately a 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch area, to provide clearance for the driver side mounting plate.
I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Curt hitch.
You might look at the instructions and see if your are able to use the Curt hitch with your aftermarket exhaust or contact the aftermarket exhaust company and see if they will know if the exhaust will fit on your vehicle with the Curt hitch installed.
If you will be towing with the Curt hitch you will also need the Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19258, or the Tow Ready 1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19256. The wiring harness would be the Tow Ready Wiring Harness, part # C59496. I am including a link to the instructions for the wiring harness.
