Thule Kayak Carrier Compatibility with Rhino-Rack Vortex 2500 Crossbars

will a thule 815 kayak cradle fit on a Rhino-rack 2500 Roof Rack and will it be effective?

The 815 part number is for a basic version of the Hull-A-Port # TH834 kayak carrier sold by some lesser retail outlets. The Hull-A-Port carrier fits on round, square, elliptical, aero and most factory crossbars. Rhino-Rack Vortex 2500 bars are the aero type but are not compatible.
Kayak carriers like this Thule include the required tie-down straps to secure the bow and stern ends for safe transport.
If you need tie downs you can use Quick Draw Tie-Down Ropes # TH855XT.
