Suspension Height on 5th Wheel Trailer with Adjustable Spring Hangers
Question:
My spring hangers have 2 holes and spring is currently in top hole. Can I move spring to lower hole thus raising trlr 2 inches for a more level ride? I have 5 1/4 inches clearance on truck bed rails now.

Usually leaf spring hangers have one hole on each side to allow the shackle bolt to run through the eye in the spring and then be secured to the hanger, as on a part like # E4139. But if your hangers have multiple holes to allow a choice of trailer height you can certainly use the lower set of holes to lift the trailer relative to the axle.
If you refer to the linked diagram you'll see the recommended minimum clearances for 5th wheel towing. 5-1/4-inches of clearance at the bed rails is adequate, but more is certainly beneficial when driving on twisty/hilly roads that can have the truck and trailer at different angles.
For instances when the trailer spring hangers do not provide adjustment capability we offer axle over/under kits # K71-384-00 and # K71-385-00 to lift the trailer.
