Sliding Hitch Compatibility With Industry Standard 5th Wheel Rails
Question:
I have an existing reese 14k classic receiver in my 07 Dodge 1500 6 ft box. Will the Reese 16k #30051 receiver mount on my existing rails or will I have to redue everything. The rails are mounted 22inches center to center on rail mount holes. Where the receiver hooks into. I have broken two rear windows to date and need this type of system to save on windows. lol Thanks for any and all info. Need more info email me.

The Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider -16,000 lbs # RP30051 is compatible with the same standard 5th wheel rails as your 14K Reese Classic. So you only need to add the slider.
You may want to consider adding the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # HM42137. This will give you a harness in the bed of your truck for easy connection.
