Can Head be Removed from B&W Patriot Slider 5th Wheel Hitch in a 2015 Ram 2500

Question:

can the head be taken off to make it easier to remove and place back onto the truck - I will be using it with a 2015 ram 2500 factory pucks and a reese adapter that I have used currently- my main concern is one person removal and placement in the bed of the truck- I do need a slider hitch as I have 6.5 box and have experienced the non slider contact situation. Will be purchasing a 5th wheel slider hitch .

Yes, you can remove just the head on the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs Item # BWRVK3270 to make it easier to remove and reinstall. B&W makes a great hitch so you will like the Patriot!
