What is Needed to Fit Alumi-Tread Quad Steps #LC432698 to Trailer With Narrower Brackets
Question:
In reading the reviews on the Alumi-Tread Quad steps, a couple of people have mentioned the measurement difference between the width of the current steps they have 27-5/8 and the Alumi-Tread system 28.0. They say they did a quick fix to make it work? What is the fixinch theyre talking about?. Will the Alumi-Tread system #LC432698 work on my 2014 Arctic Fox 5th wheel? My current Lippert steps measure 27-5/8inch at the mounting plate. Thank You,

Expert Reply:
The mounting brackets of your trailer will need to be moved out a bit to match up with the part # LC432698. This shouldn't be too difficult at all but you will want to check the brackets of your current setup to see how they attach to the trailer to determine exactly what will be needed to move them out.
