The RV steps do get a bit wider as you add more steps to them. The closest option we have is the Alumi Tread part # LC432698 that you referenced which would be 28 inches wide. For basically all RV applications you can still install the steps but you'd have to move the brackets out or remove and install new ones.

For new brackets we have the outriggers part # LC301704 which would work well.

Your only option will be to move your existing brackets or simply remove them altogether and install new ones like the part # LC301704 Jameson mentioned above. This will indeed require some drilling on the trailer.

The mounting bracket for the Alumi-Tread # LC432698 is 28" wide. If your existing brackets are 27" apart, they will likely need to be removed and re-installed further apart - if you need new outriggers you can use part # LC301704 .
