To locate the correct brake switch wire on your 2001 Toyota Tundra to connect the red wire from your trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 to, you will need to use a circuit tester to determine the cold side of the brake switch at the brake pedal. Using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993, locate the wire that only carries a signal when the brake pedal is pressed. You will splice the red wire from your brake controller to this wire.
