I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and considering purchasing two Kayaks this summer. We were wondering if you could recommend a roof rack system that could carry both kayaks. We have the roof mount rails but no cross rails.

For your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the roof rack system is somewhat dependent on the e-group or without the e-group. The e-group package has a chrome strip on the top of the side rails and the non e-group does not. I'll give you both fit options.

For the roof rack without the e-group package, I recommend the Thule Wingbar Evo- Aluminum - Black - 60" # TH711520 , the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof-Rack Foot Pack # TH480R, and the Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit for Traverse Foot Packs # THKIT1656. I recommend the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 4 # TH450400 to secure this rack to your roof.

If you have the e-group package, I recommend the WingBar Evo Load Bars # TH711420, Thule Podium Foot Pack for Aero Bars # TH460R and Thule Fit Kit for Podium Style Foot Pack # THKIT3142. I recommend the # TH450400 locks with this rack as well.

For your kayak carrier, I recommend the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier - Folding - Universal Mount # S512 along with the Expansion Arm for Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier # RRS512X.
