Class III Trailer Hitch & Wiring Harness for Mid-Year 2016.5 Mazda CX-5

Hello, it appears that hitch 75217, Drawtite class III is rated for the Mazda CX5 2016 but not the 2016 mid year model. The service manager at the Mazda dealer believes the frame on both models is the same, but is not absolutely sure. Will Drawtite hitch 75217 fit the midyear model?

The 2-inch Class III Draw-Tite hitch that fits your mid-year 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 is part # 76138. The installation process is outlined in the linked instructions and is also shown in the video linked for you. Hitch 75217 does not fit the mid-year model.
For a 4-pole wiring harness you can use part # 118563 which is a powered converter harness that isolates and protects your vehicle wiring from any shorts or other faults in the trailer wiring.
