Does Draw Tite Hitch Fit 2017 Honda CR-V and Allow Hands-Free Liftgate to Open
Question:
I have the CRV TOURING model. I have checked and see that the hitch itself would physically fit my vehicle. The Touring edition has a kick automatic opener for the rear hatch. Do you know anyone that has used or tested this model 76128 trailer hitch to ensure that it does not impede the normal use of the kick opener? Many Thanks

We had a customer come back and explain to us how well the Draw Tite Hitch part # 76128 fit their 2017 Honda CR-V Touring model. The hitch fits great but the hitch does block the liftgate sensor. HOWEVER, there is a way to move the sensor in the bumper to where they put it if the vehicle had came with a factory hitch. Apparently there is a Honda tech bulletin on this subject that is floating around the internet as well. The sensor will get moved about 7 inches to the right.
