Can the 12-Volt Power Circuit on the 2016 Honda Pilots 7-Way Connector Charge a Trailer Battery
Question:
I was looking to see what the charge amps are for this circuit to keep the trailer battery charged. I think there is a fuse that protects the wire but I dont see what the max current the line will supply to the battery. Im trying to figure out how much charge I get for every hour of driving if my trailer battery is low and needs a charge. Help!

The 12 volt power circuit of your 7-way will be able to put a light maintenance charge on it so that it stays topped off while you are travelling. Even though there is a fuse wired on the circuit, most likely a 40 amp fuse, the battery will not supply up to 40 amps of power to the battery.
If the battery becomes discharged, hooking the 7-way on your Honda Pilot and driving will not charge the battery. For this you will want to use a battery charger like the CTEK Multi US 7002 12-Volt battery Charger, # CTEK56353.
