Is Drilling Required to Install Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 75673 on 2014 Subaru Outback

Is there any drilling involved when installing this hitch ? Thanks for the help.

To install the Draw-Tite Class III Receiver, part # 75673 the instructions state that a 1-1/8 inch access hole will need to be drilled in the bottom of the frame to allow the hardware to be fished up inside the frame. The easiest way to make the hole would be to use a hole saw.
