Required 7-Way Trailer Wiring Circuits for 2004 Fun Finder 24 Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2004 Fun Finder 24foot Travel Trailer, and I was wondering if I need to wire in the AUX power and Reverse Lights into the 7 Pin Connector on My Truck. I dont know if the Travel Trailer uses these two or not. Just want to make sure I have trailer wired correctly before getting on the road next week.

The 7-way trailer wiring format does typically include both reverse light connection and a 12V power feed to maintain a trailer-mounted battery. On a typical RV-type wiring setup the pins for these functions are, respectively, the center pin and the 1-o-clock pin. Please refer to the linked image of a 7-way socket.
If your trailer has reverse lights and an on-board battery then you will want to make these connections so those functions are supported, but if the trailer has neither reverse lights nor need for a 12V power feed then you do not need to make those additional circuit connections.
