Can Trailer Axle be Replaced with Axle that has a Longer Hub Face Measurement
Question:
The axle on the trailer has a hub face to face measurement of 86-3/4 inches. Spring center of 74 inches. Can i replace it with a axle with a hub face to face of 89 inches ??

An axle like # e43SR can be installed on the trailer as long as the spring center length is 74 inches. Since the hub face is an extra 2-1/4 inches your tires will stick out a little further on each side. As long as this doesn't interfere with anything like fenders you'll be just find.
