Will this ball work with the reese hitch RP66559 weight distribution system?

Yes, the Reese Steadi-Flex weight distribution system part # RP66559 that you referenced takes a hitch ball with a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank that is 2-5/8 inches long just like the part # A-6 so it would work well. Also this has the same 10k capacity as the Steadi-Flex.
