Replacement 7-Way Solution Recommendation for 2014 Ford F-250
Question:
I have a 2014 Ford F250 SD with the factory tow package that came with a 7 pin-4 pin plug that is like item HM40975-11998, the original plug and the vehicles hard wired plug is corroded beyond use. The item mentioned above doesnt confirm that it is compatible with my 14inch F250 SD according to your website, although it has a video of it being installed on a 08inch F250 SD. That was my 1st question heres the other one is item HM40975-11998 compatible to be used with your item 50-97-410 ? Because I have used the latter item before with no issues or complaints. One other question any chance of a wiring schematic for my 14inch F250 SD on your website ? Thank You

As long as the round connector on the back of your 7-way is in tact all you need is the part # HM40975 to plug into it and you'd be set.
If the round connector is damaged you can cut the harness off and use the # HM40975-11998 to hardwire a new 7-way to the wires. We do not have a schematic for your vehicle though. What you can do is use the attached picture for the wiring colors of the 7-way and then use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the wires of your truck and wire accordingly.
