Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch For Revolution Pin Box To Reduce Jarring And Chucking
Question:
I have the reese revolution pin box which was good for the previous owner but not needed for my long bed 2011 GMC 3500 truck. Now I would like to swap this out for a hitch that is a good value which will provide some cushion to reduce or eliminate chucking and the impact of rough roads and bridge joint. It is labeled as a10K Revolution Sidewider. I do need another hitch so perhaps if the prices work out I could use that from you as well. Im hoping you can assist with a suitable replacement pin box or two. Suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I reached out to the manufacturer of your Revolution 10K and that particular model is made uniquely for your trailer. In other words it is not a pin box that can use another style of pin box, it is custom made for your trailer. There is a replacement available if you ever have an issue with yours, but it is a direct exchange for the same Revolution model. There is nothing else that fits. If you decide you don't want to use the revolution turning function, you can lock it out with bolts to make it more of a standard pin box using the locking bolts.
To help with your cushion, we will need to look to the hitch. I recommend the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16120 which is cushioned and helps with the ride quality.
