The Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider # C16521, along with the Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16427-204 that is confirmed to fit your 2018 Ram 2500, is an excellent system and a great choice for towing your fifth-wheel trailer.
I have attached the complete written installation instructions for these base rails and this hitch on your truck. The custom brackets that are included will use existing holes in your Ram's frame that will eliminate drilling and greatly reduce installation time. Curt estimates that the installation will take about 180 minutes for a DIY novice or 90 minutes for a professional. All of the necessary hardware is included.
I have also attached an installation video on the 2017 Ram 2500 that you can use for reference. The process for your 2018 model will be nearly identical.
