According the research I did it looks like you can only flat tow an automatic transmission 2015 Honda Fit with a tow dolly like our part # RM-2050-1.

Tow dollies require less invasive installs, are about the same price as a tow bar setup, and are more easily transferred to future vehicles so they really aren't a bad option. Plus the front wheels won't spin so a FWD vehicle won't accumulate miles.

The Roadmaster Tow Dolly part #RM-2050-1 has a maximum usable tire width of 77 inches. So if you measured from the outside of your front tire to the other side and the distance was less than that this dolly will fit.

I did somet hecking and it looks like your 2018 Chevy Equinox with a 1.5 liter engine and FWD is flat towable as-is. You could use the Demco Kar Kaddy you mentioned or the Roadmaster Tow Dolly part #RM-2050-1 that you referenced as well.
