Solution for 1992 Prowler 5th Wheel Needing New Brake Shoes

We have a 1992 prowler 29fth wheel RV in need of brake shoe on the old shoe has TR nothing else the drum has a stamp max12.09just needing the shoes with out backing plate

What typically is the case for trailer brake shoe replacements is that it makes more sense to just replace the entire assembly instead of the shoes. Reason being the price is almost the same typically, the install is much less involved since assembly replacement is pretty easy, finding the right shoes can be pretty difficult sometimes like in your case where the brand and size is unknown, and because you get all new components to prevent future failure of other brake components.
Because the one number you listed is 12.09 that indicates that you MOST LIKELY have 12 inch assemblies and the correct ones you need are part # AKEBRK-6. These assemblies are for 5,200-7,000 lb axles and attach with a 5 bolt mounting flange. The width is 2 inches. If all of this matches this would be the correct kit you would need.
