We've had this license plate for at least two seasons to include a pretty cold and (road) salty winter! It holds up great in weather and in the car wash. My main concern was that the letters, which stick out, might come off but it seems like everything is in like-new condition.

I also had great customer service. The item was out of stock so it took a lot longer than normal for it to be delivered. However, I was emailed immediately so at least I wasn't wondering where it was.

I am actually very disappointed with this purchase, and I was happy when I got an email about reviewing it. I bought this as a gift for a VT alum, and sadly, many of the maroon letters actually started falling off within weeks of purchase, leaving just the silver metal depression of the letter. I thought being made from steel would mean that it would last a long time! I was going to try to return it afterwards, but I was unable to locate the receipt to do so since I purchased it as a gift. The license plate is still on my boyfriends car, but I think he just feels bad because it was a present. I will 1000% not recommend this item. 337757
