Any time I am having problems removing difficult suspension components I usually apply liberal amounts of lubricant, such as LubriMagic Green Series Biobased Spray Lubricant, let it soak in for a minute and then try again.

If possible try using a cheater bar to give you more leverage, which would give you additional torque to remove the old bump stops. If you are not sure what a cheater bar, it is typically a long pipe that will fit over your wrench or ratchet that will give you more leverage.

Another tool I will use, and this is usually my last ditch effort, is the grinder. I would look for a way to use the grinder in such a way that it would remove the bump stop and not damage any of the other components of your vehicle.
