Recommended Vehicle Wiring Harness for 2014 Dodge Durango without Factory Tow Package

2014 Dodge Durango SXT w/o factory tow package. Is # C56336 the best wiring harness and will the Durango computer have to be set to recognize the wiring harness?

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56336 you referenced in your question is a great harness and is what I recommend for your 2014 Dodge Durango. The T-connector will plug directly into existing wiring behind the vehicle tail lights and will provide a 4-way flat trailer connector to power your trailer's signal lights. Because you are just plugging into the tail lights behind your vehicle, you should not need to have the computer reset or flashed for this to work properly.
