Does the Bulldog Lifelong Trailer Hitch Lock Have Stainless Steel Ball Bearings?
Question:
I baught a rease stainless hitch lock,looks just like the bulldog lifelong lock you have,was wandering if the ball bareings are stainless too because the ones in my rease lock are not and rusted in the locked mode was a bxxch to get off.Only had the lock for 7 months.

The Bulldog Lifelong Trailer Hitch Lock for 2" Hitches - Flush - 2-1/2" Span - Stainless # BD580402, has a rustproof stainless steel construction. I reached out to my contact at Bulldog and he said the ball bearings are made of plated steel because stainless steel likes to bond with stainless steel. The plated steel gives it the ability to function correctly, but he also said lubing them is important to keep them functioning correctly. I've attached some review videos for you.
