Skid Wheels to Protect RV from Dragging on Driveway with Steep Incline

Question:

We have a 2015 Itasca Navion motorhome on a Mercedes Sprinter chasis. The motorhome is 25ft long. We have just purchased a new home with a fairly steep driveway. Since the road crowns when we enter the driveway we are in a low spot and the grade goes up starting at about 6 degree and progresses to 14 degrees within about 12 feet. The bottom of the chassis will definitely drag, because a small 16ft moving truck left some gouges in the concrete when its back end hit going both up and down the driveway. Do you think the Ultra-Fab Hitch Mounted Skid Wheels will work in this situation, or do you have any other suggestions short of reconstructing the driveway? Your help is greatly appreciated,

From the sounds of your situation the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels # UF48-979014 seem to be a great solution. Sure beats damaging your driveway.

These are designed to attach to 2-1/2 inch square hitch tube on the motorhome. If you don't have this you can use # UF48-979012 that use brackets that weld to the RV.
