We may something that will allow you to install a weight distribution system on your V-nosed trailer. The bolt-on chain hangers, part # RP58305, provide an attachment point for your weight-distribution spring bars without interfering with trailer-frame-mounted items.
Since your tongue weight is 500 lbs the weight distribution system we recommend is the Strait Line part # RP66082 which has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs and the only sway control on the market designed to prevent sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
