Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2014 Ram 2500 Short Bed
Question:
I have a 2014 ram 2500 crew cab 6.4l gas with a 6foot 4inch bed. I am buying a grand design reflection 337 rls fifth wheel , this is my first fifth wheel , not sure what hitch to buy ,or if I need a slider or not. Can you help me out please.

Since your truck has a short bed it will require a slider hitch to allow you to make tight turns without cab interference. Since getting out and activating a slider can be somewhat of a hassle I would recommend an auto-slider.
The Demco Hijacker part # DM8550034 will automatically slide as you make tight turns so it would be what I recommend. For a rail kit you would want the custom fit rail kit part # DM8552025-71. This will minimize drilling and install time when compared to a universal kit.
