Timbren or SuperSpring Suspension Enhancement for 2013 Chevrolet Silverado

i tow a 7000lb bumper pull travel trailer with WDH about 6 times a year. otherwise usually an unloaded daily driver truck. I would like to know if either the Timbrens or Supersprings would be a better choice for no change to empty ride, while offering support when loaded.

Both the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK15S and the SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer # SSA8MTKT are great options for leveling the rear axle of your 2013 Chevroler Silverado 1500 when towing your travel trailer. Both systems actually do a nice job at maintaining a smoother ride when the vehicle is unloaded.

I recommend the SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer # SSA8MTKT over the Timbren because the suspension reinforcement it provides is a bit less noticeable over bumps and rough roads when empty. This system works a bit differently than the Timbren in that they support your Silverado's OEM springs by working like sway bars to stabilize and keep them from twisting. I have included a picture showing how they lay over your vehicle's factory suspension. They also offer some customization to the level of support provided depending on which bolt holes you use to install the helper springs. They have a weight capacity of 1,500 pounds.

Another option I recommend looking at is the RAS RoadActive Suspension Kit, part # RAS4611. Even more than the SuperSprings or Timbren systems, the RAS System will noticeably improve vehicle stability and handling during both loaded and unloaded trips. This system will install over your leaf springs and the RoadActive coiled springs can be adjusted for a heavy load or everyday driving so that you will have the same quality of ride regardless of what you are carrying. This has a weight capacity of 2,000 pounds. I have included a demonstration video for you to check out.
