Recommended Axle-Less Suspension System For Lightweight Off-Road Trailer
Question:
Id like to purchase the Timbren ASR1200S02 for a lightweight off road trailer. In addition, I would like to match the bolt pattern of my Tacoma. It would be a 6x5.5. I dont see a compatible unit. Can you recommend what I should use? Thanks.

Since you want to travel off-road I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less System, part # ASR1200S01. This is designed for off-road tires and has a capacity of 1,200-lbs.
The hub assembly I recommend is part # 8-91-05UC1-EZ. This system does not have the same bolt pattern as your Tacoma. This hub has a 4 on 4 wheel bolt pattern.
Since you said you want to match the 6 x 5-1/2 bolt pattern of your Tacoma you will need to use a more heavy-duty system like part # ASR35HDS01. This is a 3,500-lb axle-less system. The hub assembly I recommend is part # 84655UC1-EZ. This has a 6 on 5-1/2 wheel bolt pattern. This hub assembly comes with the bearings, races, seal, E-Z Lube grease cap, wheel bolts and lug nuts.
It is not recommended to use vehicle tires on a trailer. Trailer tires have stronger sidewalls and are designed to handle higher air pressure and higher loads. Keep in mind that most vehicle wheels have offsets and are not compatible with a lot of trailers.
