Trailer Tire Recommendation for Size ST205/75-14

We plan on putting a lot of miles on our RV trailer , west coast to the east coast and I do not to be concerned about the cheap mfr tire that came on the RV trailer. I am looking for the best tire. I Like the ST205/75R14 load range E which I think are 9 ply. thanks

For extended highway use I recommend going with a trailer tire with a higher speed rating as that will help prevent heat build/failure.

For the size you listed the best option will be the Taskmaster part # TR20514 which is a 205/75R14 that has a speed rating of 81 mph which is much higher than most which are only rated at 65 mph.

We do not have any tires in the Load Range of E but these are C and have a capacity of 1,760 lbs at 50 psi.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.

Seal 171255UC has an inner diameter of 1.719 inches and outer diameter of 2.565 inches. A seal that has those dimensions would actually be #58846. I've added a link to a video review of this seal for you to take a look at.
