Can New Carriage Bolt be Fishwired in Place of Broken Weldnut
Question:
I just attempted to install my recently purchased Curt class II trailer hitch on my 2012 Honda Odyssey. One of the interior frame mounted nuts on the rear passenger side broke Loose. Is it possible to fish a bolt in to properly secure the one last hole ? Would I be able to use the same bowl that was fished in on the driver side?

If you can access an open end of the frame where the weld nut broke off you could fishwire a new carriage bolt in place of the weldnut. Otherwise you may have to weld the hitch on.
Looking at the install instructions for the hitches for your 2012 Honda Odyssey it looks like there are some holes in the frame that could allow a fishwire and new bolt to install.
You would need 1/2 inch diameter fishwire like part # C58400.
Dirty or corroded weldnuts are typically what cause them to break.
