To add a hitch to your 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, I recommend the Draw-Tite item # DT42GR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Jeep with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 7,500 lbs towing capacity and a 1,125 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I really like the Draw-Tite hitch item # DT42GR because it installs behind your rear bumper cover and can be completely hidden when you are not towing.
I have attached a couple of pictures so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C27BR and a ball mount kit item # C45534. This wiring harness is for Jeeps without the towing package.
