Which Trailer Wiring Harness Will Work With 2017 Toyota Sienna LE
Question:
The video for best wiring harnesses for 2017 sienna says to use part number 118498 but when I put in my vehicle on the site it comes up with wiring harness part number 118648. The difference appears to be that 118498 mounts the box on the passenger side in the jack compartment which I would prefer as pointed out in the video and 118648 mounts the box in the driver side with the cord stored in the center seat storage bin. Is there a difference in the connectors or will either work?

The difference between part # 118648 and part # 118498 is that part # 118498 is designed for the SE model and part # 118648 is designed to work with Siennas that are not the SE model.
Since you came from the non-SE model the trailer wiring harness that will work for you is part # 118648. This trailer harness is a simple installation. You just plug it into the connection points behind the driver and passenger side tail lights and then run the hot lead wire to the positive battery post with the inline fuse.
