How to Determine if Thule T2 Classic Will Fold Up and Not Hit Bumper
Question:
will the 69tx work on my 2017 cherokee. can i fold it up and or down. does ur lock stop the rack from rattling?

To determine if the Thule T2 Pro XTR part # TH69TX is going to fit your 2017 Jeep Cherokee and allow it to fold up without bumper interference will require you to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper. If that dimension is less than 5 inches this rack would easily fold up and clear the bumper.
The SnugTite hitch pin will remove the movement in the hitch so that it doesn't rattle while travelling folded up or down.
