Can the Kuat NV 2.0 # BA22B-BA02B be Used as Only a 2-Bike Rack
Question:
If I buy the Kuat NV 4 bike rack, can it split to be 2 like the base? And use the other half as the add on? Or do you need to purchase the base and add on for that?

The Kuat NV 2.0 # BA22B-BA02B that you referenced can be split and be just a 2 bike rack if you only needed to carry 2 bikes. And then you could easily install the add-on section to make it a 4-bike rack.
The add-on section though can not be used as an independent bike rack though. It can only be used as an expansion for the base portion of the rack.
