Pole Tongue Adapter for Boat Trailer to Allow Use of Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System
Question:
I purchased your FA92-00-0450 Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control hitch because my 2015 Jeep Cherokees owners manual said that I would need a WDH when towing a 4,000 pound boat. The videos Ive seen though do not have the same trailer post setup as the ones in your video. Can this WDH work with a boat trailer?

Boat trailers that have a straight pole tongue (rather than an a-frame) can be used with WD systems by adding a pole tongue adapter that provides the necessary mounting points for the spring bar brackets. Equal-I-zer offers one made specifically for their systems, part # EQ95-01-5950. This will bolt onto trailer tongues up to 5-inches wide and up to 5-1/2-inches tall.
You can use this so long as your trailer does NOT have a folding/hinged tongue.
