Since the cross bar of the hitch receiver is hidden, how can a 7 pin round trailer connector like the one in Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - ETBC7 be mounted? Thanks,

To mount your 7 way connnector to your round bar receiver tube, I recommend the TrailerMate No-Drill Mounting Bracket - Short, # 18140. This will allow you to mount the # ETBC7 trailer connector using the mount that came with the kit. This will allow the mount to be fastened securely to the cross bar of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", # 76025.
