Installing the LED Light Kit # 98174LED in the Rola Hitch Cargo Carrier # 59502
Question:
When these lights are installed in the trailer, the rubber grommets fit very loosely - i.e. the lights may bounce out at any point. Am I missing something that would hold the lights more securely in my Rola 59502 carrier?

I went out to the warehouse and got a set of lights and a cargo carrier. When I attempted to install the grommets and lights in the light mounting cut outs they fit well but you must get the grommet all of the way into the mounting hole.
I took the grommet, installed it into the cargo carrier then pressed the light into the carrier. Make sure the grommet snaps in fully. I started on one end of the grommet and pressed it in until it snapped in fully, causing the face of the grommet to flatten out somewhat against the carrier. Then, I worked the light into the grommet making sure it was seated all of the way around. The Light and grommet will then be secured in the mounting hole.
Once fully installed the light will not fall out without significant pressure, and the light will be protected from shock by the rubber grommet.
Try these steps and you should get your lights installed correctly and have no worries about the light falling out of the carrier.
