Do we have to adjust capture brackets each time trailer is coupled or once adjust, it is ok.

You would only need to tighten the head side brackets of the Demco Hijacker Auto Slider part # DM8550024 once to set it for the pin box of your trailer. After initial setup you would not need to mess with it.
